A&B to Provide Free Shuttle Service for the Kailua July 4th Fireworks & Twilight Air Show
June 30, 2017
Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. (A&B) continues its commitment to support the Kailua July 4th Fireworks and Twilight Air Show. For the fourth consecutive year, A&B has provided a $10,000 donation to support the annual show. In addition, the company will be providing complimentary shuttle service to Kailua Beach to help ease traffic congestion.
Attendees are welcome to park for free at any of A&B’s retail locations in Kailua Town. The shuttle will stop at the Former Macy’s Parking Lot and Kailua Elementary School beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, and will transport passengers to Kailua Beach Center for the show approximately every 20 to 30 minutes. The last pick-up before the fireworks begin will be at 7:20 p.m. The last return trip to Downtown Kailua will be at 10:20 p.m. Last year, over 1,000 people rode the shuttle to the Fireworks Show.

Free Kids Pizza Making Classes at Prima
May 18, 2017
PRIMA makes its most anticipated announcement since the arrival of Hawaii’s first Stefano Ferrara Forni brick pizza oven from Naples, Italy back in 2011…free kids pizza making classes! We do “pizza” a little different than the standard place, and we wanted to expand awareness and education to children in the community. Parents can sign their kids up on a first come first served basis by messaging the Prima Kailua Facebook page. The classes are offered to kids ages 5-12, and they must be accompanied by an adult. Classes will be held every Thursday from 330-4pm starting 5/25.
PRIMA, serving hand crafted kiawe wood fired neapolitan pizzas out of its Stefano Ferrara Italian brick oven since 2011, sources product from local farmers, ranchers, and fishermen along with imported flour, tomato, and cured meats from Italy to help cultivate our mission of honest, good food.

I Love Kailua Town Party
April 7, 2017
Get ready to celebrate the silver anniversary edition of Kailua’s biggest event of the year: the 25th Annual “I Love Kailua” Town Party, taking place on Kailua Road in Windward Oahu from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday April 30.
A favorite feature of this community street party are the food booths with flavorful specialties from Kailua-area restaurants. The Town Party is also an opportunity to enjoy shopping, great entertainment and family fun. Over 50 Windward artists and hand-crafters will have their work on sale; there will be plants and orchid sales; and the popular “I Love Kailua” logo booth will have limited-edition apparel and accessories bearing this year’s Town Party logo, designed by Kailua artist Thomas Deir.
Party-goers also can look forward to non-stop live entertainment; the Kama`aina Kids keiki fun zone with rides and jumpers; Castle Medical Center’s mini health fair with free screenings; and a variety of community groups with information to share.
The 2017 Kailua Town Party is a fundraiser presented by the nonprofit Lani-Kailua Outdoor Circle and supported by Alexander & Baldwin Properties, Inc. Organizers encourage Kailua residents to leave their cars at home and walk or bicycle to the pedestrian-friendly event. What better way to work up an appetite before hitting the food booths?
For more information about the 2017 “I Love Kailua” Town Party, visit www.LaniKailuaOutdoorCircle.org or please contact Amy Hammond at (808) 234-0404.

Three floors of parking will be available in the lot fronting Longs. Enter from Hahani Street, near Teddy’s Bigger Burgers. Accommodations for securing bicycles also will be available.
